CLOTH DIAPERS

HOW MUCH DO I NEED?
This question is certainly the one that comes up most often.
Depending on who you ask the question, the answer will not always be the same. But we can agree on one thing, the washing frequency you want to have!
When baby is smaller, it is normal to change him more regularly, but the older he gets, the less changing will be necessary.

Here is an average of the diapers you will use in a day, according to the child's age.

*To avoid being caught off guard, always make sure to add a few extra diapers to your calculation to have a few spare during washing/drying and for unforeseen events!
Like for example, 24 diapers would be enough for washing every 2-3 days.

INSERTS

Of course, you’ll need inserts! They’re sometimes included with diapers, but if not, you may need to buy them separately (unless you opt for an alternative). There are also different absorbency levels, so it’s best to check what’s included when you buy to avoid extra expenses later.

NIGHT INSERTS

Night inserts are usually sold separately. Thicker, they are not always practical for toddlers, so not essential at the beginning. In general, 3 or 4 are enough, depending on how often you wash. Personally, I appreciated having 4, which allowed me to wash every 3 days without the risk of running out, even in the event of an unforeseen event!

WET BAGS

If you want to go out and continue using in you , you will need to can yourself (with a wet bag. They are made with the same fabric waterproof than your diapers (pul) and have various uses. Putting away the transport of your diapers you can use them for carry using wet bathing suits when retourning from a and liquid the beach , your little need . laundry snacks, etc….

If you plan to send your child to daycare, you will see that it will be very useful to have at least three or four.
